The beautiful multi-colored, all-natural varieties of willow I used to make this rib basket were grown and harvested by my teacher Jo Campbell Amsler.  This basket was started during the  5 day class Step by Step Willow Rib-Style Basketry with her as instructor at the Peters Valley School of Craft in New Jersey.  I completed it when I returned home.
